Shift your mood by doing this one simple thing: Feed your Moon.

Our Moon in our chart shows us how we feel safe and secure and nourished. So it makes sense that if we are not feeling those things, we need to address our Moon’s needs. Right?

Right. So how do you do that? First, what sign is your Moon in? Each sign has an element; air, water, earth or fire.

Air: Gemini, Virgo, Aquarius

Water: Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces

Earth: Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn

Fire: Aries, Leo, Sagittarius

Do an activity that corresponds with the element your Moon is in, such as taking a bath (water), engaging in movement (fire), learning something (air), or getting outdoors (earth).

Second, what house is your Moon in? Each of the 12 houses represents an area of your life. For example, the third house is about communication, the fifth is about creativity, eleventh has to do with groups, etc. There is a cheat sheet on the houses in my Facebook group here. Do something in the area of your life represented by the house that your Moon is in. Combine this with the element.

And lastly, do something particular to the sign your Moon is in. Here are some examples:

Aries – win, Taurus – get comfy, Gemini – learn, Cancer – be at home, Leo – create, Virgo – improve something, Libra – view beauty, Scorpio – have a heart-to-heart, Sagittarius – road trip, Capricorn –  finish something you started, Aquarius – say what you really think, Pisces – dream.

Put it all together! What are quick things that you can do?

For example: A 5th House Aries Moon might want to play a dancing video game. A 9th House Cancer Moon might want to watch a travel show on Figi in their pajamas. A 1st House Gemini Moon may want to take a Myers-Briggs test and then read all about their type.

You get the idea. Whatever you do, it will be something that you like and puts a smile on your face. It will take your mind off of your problems for a bit. The most important thing is that it will bring you back to yourself.
